Well, I have my own views on the war (not too different to your own) but the motive here from the BNP is not have an anti-war campaign. It has been widely publicised that the purpose is to gain signatures to set off another round of begging letters from Dowson. I am sure that will not be explained to shoppers as they sign the petitions tomorrow. Tom
Small print on the BNP petition form……….. “I authorise the British National Party to contact me or send me future promotional, electoral and fundraising material.”
Start of advert for BNP regional training day…….. “You've got the contacts on the petition forms — now learn how to get the most out of them!”
If the people who signed this, otherwise noble, petition knew the true purpose for it I doubt they would be very impressed.
